Which Mobil Oil for 03 WRX

I know that you have answered this probably a thousand times before but...

Went into halfords today to get oil for service. Was going to get Mobil 10W40 semi synthetic @ 32euro. Asked the lad at the counter and he recommeded 5W30 fully synthetic @ 60. Now i have no issue with the price if its the best oil for the engine. Seen on posts that 10W50 is also recommended but they dont stock that. I took pictures of the oil on my iphone and posted them on the facebook page as i couldnt upload them on this site. Any advice would be appreciated

Get the 10W40, that'll be the stuff for you.

Its 15W50 that people use but it would be if you intended doing a fair amount of 'spirited' driving, track days and the likes :icon_grin:

Thanks robbie but ill probably just get it in halfords as its on my doorstep, would have got it today if it wasnt for the lad on the counter !

i always buy my oil in halfords theres usually a special offer on mobil1 every 5 or 6 weeks so i usually stock up with a few at a time 10w/60 motorsport 40 euros for 5 liters cant go wrong :thumbsup:

Lads I entered subaru impreza 2.0 turbo 00 to 07 on search facility on mobil website and they recommend to use fully synthetic 5W30 ?? :ponder:
 
Well considering that i put castrol 5w30 fully synthetic into a ford mondeo DIESEL :shhh: I reckon that i should be putting something similar into the scooby !

if you consider going for 5w30 full synthetic here is the best choice for you in decent price:

otherwise you can go for semi synthetic as you mentioned earlier:

Thanks lads @ Intrex but this post is a bit old now and I have got her serviced since. Went for the Castrol Magnatec 5W30 fully synthetic in the end. :thumbsup:
