Whats the deal with the fact that once you get your car just right and the way you want it, someone has to reverse in it and fu*k it up again

At a junction, this lad was stopped and i was coming up behind him, both of us turning right, He went to pull off out and naturally i moved up a bit, then he put on the breaks and started reversing, oblivious to the fact that i was there. MY car isint as quiet as any standard cars, so im sure i should've been heard. Anyway, reversing lights on and bam, straight into my front quarter. Glad for both his sake and my sake that he dint damage my light, but having siad that, he did enough.

Now I was fair to him about it and he was very apolagetic and very helpful with regard getting it fixed up. I said that i wouldnt go through the insurance cause i recognise his face from around the town etc. He also has his driving test coming up on thursday and i dint want to jeopardize his chances of getting insured. Once he pays up for the job to be done properly i dont mind. We both left on good terms and am in the process of getting it sorted. Tell me what yis think.

That sucks Nicknack, I was only talking about your sweet legacy to a mate there on sunday. It could have been alot worse I suppose. It was good of you to be nice to that lad in reguards not loosing the head and not going through his insurance to pay for the damage. Some good Karma me thinks.
Have some on me

I know how u feel nicknack. Same happened to me a few years ago. A guy in a jeep at the lights reversed back to read a sign and straight into my car. Think it cost €2000 to fix. Hate accidents that arent your fault :(

all i can say is fair play for the way you handled it especially after the last few weeks so respect and what goes around comes around so you are due a good turn  €4 quick pick and hope for the best

Thats not good news. See if he passes his test now cos he obviously doesn't know how to use his mirrors

Nasty bang alrite, did you find out why he decided to reverse? Hope you back to its gleaming self. :subaru:

Bad luck nicknack. You handled it well. Im sure I wouldnt be so calm. Are you looking at a new wing or will that one be repairable?

Ah thats terrible - fair play to ya for taking it so well - I'd still be kicking him right now
