OK lads. A work mate got an old pc that runs windows 98 for nothing. He just received the e160 g modem from 3 and put it in the usb slot. Getting the message ' device not recognised' Anything that can be done there ? I thought the modems carried their own driver software and self installed but not happening here ? Any ideas.........apart from getting a decent pc/laptop

Wouldn't imagine they even write drivers for Windows 98 anymore

What is the model number is the 3 adaptor? We sell them in the shop, might be able to source you drivers.

Sorry I'm blind  Give me a few mins

Doesn't look like they have drivers for Windows 98 Richie. He will more than likely have to upgrade to XP. I wouldn't imagine most new gear out have drivers for 98...
