Windows XP very slow

Since our terrorist attack by the hacker my laptop takes 15 mins for windows to open up!!! When its fully loaded everything flies but its irritating haven't to wait on it to load!!! Anyone got an easy fix for this or is it back to the computer shop???

if your system files got infection that would cause an issue like that. Sometimes virus / trojan scans could find it but if not you could be forced to do a repair or worse case re-install windows.

it could be a completely different issue too. cant say without seeing it.

Have you thought of trying a program like "malwarebytes" or "microsoft security essentials"

There both free and might just find the virus or infection and clear it.
