Wrx newage gearbox and diff oil?

Well lads, quick one only.
Gonna change the oil in the above, what are the best options?
Motul 300 75w90 I've been reading, is this the same for the gearbox and rear diff?
How much oil would I need for both?

I know, there's a search function lol but it's just much easier to get an answer related directly to my car from lads who know ????

Can honestly say, I've never done this in ANY car, so any tips would be appreciated also ????
 
As above I think 4.5-4.7 liters for the gear box and 600-800 ml got the rear diff so 5.5 - 6 liters in total give or take :thumbsup:
maje sure you can open the fill bung first on the diff as you don’t want to drain it out and then find out you cant open the top 1 :thumbsup:

Very good point Joe. Wouldn't even have crossed my mind about the fill bung. Always little tips to pick up ????
 
If you know someone with a lift be handy big breaker bar too can be a curse to open if not done too recently
 
Nothing in the service history about it being done anyway...
It's not an axle stand job so you think?
 
Give it a go many a lad has done it here that way I just like it the easy way all the time
