Well lads, 2022 Yaris GR, buddy bringing one from UK, does it need mapping for 95?
Or are them newer cars kind of self learning with knock
If irish car from new it be different but this is UK

Ones here probably the same be very easy for him to find out just ask on a Toyota forum šŸ‘€šŸ‘€šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Haha ah i know, this lad wouldn't be all into forums and stuff. He's no FB or anything , hard enough to get him on WhatsApp šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Perfect car to bring home, the vrt is massive on them, what colour is she?

Iā€™m of no help sorryā€¦. But id love a go of one!
The look & all the reviews, say itā€™s great.

Hope you find the info you/he needs.

Cool car Corolla Gr way better looking imo but not avaliable here.

New model Yaris gr price is eye watering šŸ‘€šŸ‘€Screenshot_20241213_222009_Chrome.jpg

I want one
About 26k he paid in UK only. Absolute robbery here.
He only bought it in June, so it's coming over next week. He was asking me would he bring a subaru or evo or something, but in terms of bang for buck, GR prob better.
You'd still pay 15k to 20k for a decent STI or EVO over there, but he's saving probably 30k on the price of a GR

They were 33stg for standard model new in the uk and 36 with the circuit pack.
Same car here was 53 and 58.
Thats when first batch sold.
Then due to demand dealers could name prices for batches after.
Thats when they were first sold , fantastic value in the uk back then.

Would love one but would mean selling the wagon and e55 which not prepared to do

I was chatting to my Dad about them , he loves all cars but turned around after explaining it a homologation special , awd and 260 hp ā€œitā€™s still just a Yarisā€ šŸ’”šŸ˜‚

What a car though. I've watched numerous reviews on them now at this stage.
Even to look in UK at the minute, lots for 22k or 23k but they've all got some sort of history. Cat 1 or whatever it is over there.
Clean one with no history can be upwards of 30k used
Absolute no brainer in his position to bring one with him.

I agree with him, good video on YouTube where he tested a p1 scooby and said in his opinion a better buy than a gr yaris and more fun to drive and will probably hold its value better,

I think the gr yaris are class but when you get down to it I don't think I would buy one,

Yeah, hard to know I guess.
Rob, my mate, took a spin in it as passenger and was shocked, then drove it back to dealership, during test drive like, and said he was hooked straight away.
It did come with a ramair intake and a miltek cat back, but he asked to put the OEM exhaust back on, and decided not to keep the miltek.
I said he would have gotten a few quid for that but he left it with the dealer
I'd say a thrilling drive though, I did hear you have to wring the neck of them in order to drive them hard but aside from that, really cool car

Don't get me wrong they are a serious car and I'm sure he will be more than happy in it. Rare enough sight here too in fairness, health to.enjoy to him

Aonghus was telling me when mapping the 204 that they hold boost all the way to the redline when mapped and can go to 1.7 bar boost no problems he said they're class and with a stage 1 would surprise a lot of cars as they handle so well.
See the rally school have one and a new gr86
