There was court case years ago where someone got stopped for driving in bus lane it went before judge and asked why? Driver said he paid rd tax and that was part of rd think he got away with it. Don't test it out now

If you follow rules of the road, then roads with bus lanes between certain hours are technically dual carriageway outside these hours and everyone should be in the bus lane, as it's the left-most lane, which you're supposed to be driving in.

i put my working hours from 7 - 15 so i skip the morning traffic, it took me a while to realize i was allowed to use the bus lanes, its a good system

Some bus lanes are 24 hours if not you should use them but most people don't because they are not sure of times
Buses rule lol

used to Know a lad who uses them all the time on stilorgan bypass
flys bye everyone in the morning
and just pays the odd fine

ah well its great there is the hours sometimes, I noticed it now, one of the roads i drive in the morning is a 24H bus lane,

where the other main road I take is only bus lane from 0700AM-2200PM Mon - Sat. which is great for me in the morning haha
