jus passed nct retest so all good for a year by .01 of an emmission

no new lambada , fired car back for retest , exactly same as was for original test , but passed emmissions .
same car ,different result

high idle is not above 1.03 and my reading was 1.02 so by the skin of my teeth


happy lad , but boy do i miss the power , boost ,noise and antilag .

Friend of mine with the black Catalunya (couple members here met him) had a right ordeal with his on noise. Testers in the centre didn't test it, just failed it straight away. Argued they didn't need to as they could hear it won't pass. Had it on a decibelometer as per NCT manual and how Gardai would check and it was under.

Appealed and got a free retest, same thing again. Ended up making a complaint, and the manager of the centre refused to allow the car be tested at the centre. Ended up flying through at another centre. Nothing changed on the car whatsoever.

I told him he should have went back and waved the certificate in their face at the other centre. Absolute racket.

I know what you mean when we clean them it’s to keep them to as close to perfection and the little dents etc take away from that I am the same I could do with a dent man myself there’s a few that annoy me alright
