What did you do to your car today?

I also realised I've no bolts for mounting the side mounts to the base, just bolts to mount the seats. :doh:

Today, I replaced my OEM head unit, which died a few weeks back. I went for something relatively cheap and cheerful, the Alpine UTE-200BT. Big improvement over the OEM. I finally got around to getting one - I always lusted after the Alpine gear as a teenager reading modified car mags back in the day. I found the install a bit fiddly, the centre console surround and brackets surround aren't set up for a perfect aftermarket fit. The little pocket is a cheapo job so maybe a more expensive item would have made it easier.

So had i cleaned the other day went out to meet up with my cousin who bought this b4 legacy a while ago not the usual paddy's day but good to get out for a blast

Got my hands on a secondhand Afterburner Vortex and non resonated centre section. I just fitted the back box first today. There is a nice rumble of it compared to the prodrive back box. Don't think I will fit the centre section it may be a bit to Loud.

Would a non resonated center make that much of a difference? If so, I might do that to mine lol
Happy enough with the sound, little bit more volume be nice tho

Years ago I got a scooby world ninja back box on a classic impreza. It was very quiet. So I got a non resonated centre section and it definitely improved the sound.
 
We will have to do drive by's to compare them, [emoji41]

Yes lads it is a blistien one manual 5 speed gearbox nice car pulls well bit different being in a twin turbo but when the second one kicks in away it goes again I ask him to log on because he does have a couple of questions but all in it a nice car the comfort in the legacy compared to the impreza is a lot

Yeah Tommy he's just interested I told him to post it up someone my know it curiosity is all. Its just a daily for work atm he's mad into his motor bikes so going to tip away at it

And being 01, it had the pre face-lift bumpers so the previous owner swapped it out for the RSK-II bumpers. Much better IMO
And mine was tiptronic too. Took all the fun out of it.

All in all, fast car, great craic but you'd want a manual to be fair
 
Test fitted my new revs which I got off Gary last night, cheers again Gary, much appreciated!

Didn't think I'd be a big fan of the black wheels on a silver car and I was right, seeing them on the car I'll definitely be getting them painted...
