Anyone know of anything to look out for on them? The girlfriend is looking to get one and doesn't want to get burned :ponder2:

And I don't want to be the reason by giving the car the :thumbsup:

Any info is appreciated?
 
How much is she looking to spend rob? We were considering selling my missus' one... Its a 2002 blue 1.6L petrol.. We need something bigger for herself with the 2 kids
 
Really? she won't like that. But if thats the biggest problem its not too bad.

@Robbie...she is getting a straight swap on a 04 Daihatsu Terios, (rebadged Yaris engine afaik) but if she sells that I'd say in around the €5000 mark. A sale is not looking likely though which is why she is eager on the swap.
 
The 1.6 pet ,have to thrash it to move,, the diesel is hard to find,, i sold my diesel about 2 months ago it was a 1.9tdi 2003 that i got in from england.. went for €7000 i reckon there bullet proof petrol or diesel..

We like our Beetles have had 3 in the family.
 
I see, sure give us a shout if she sells.. We'd be hoping to get around €5,500 but i'm sure we could sort something out :thumbsup:
 
I never heard of any trouble from them so if your not to worried about the fuel then I would do it :thumbsup:
