00 b4 parking lights

does anyone know if they are the same as a v5 impreza and also how do you change them was looking at it today and cant work out how to do it
 
Balls of a job...have to remove from the front.They just clip out...did mine recently as previous owner never replaced bulbs.Put in standard parking bulbs but look crap beside the HID headlights.Trying to source some proper bulbs +do again :wall:
 
cheers i have a set of blue ones that i took out the impreza for the nct and forgot to put back in so was gonna put them in think they'd look ok beside the hids
 
B4 parking lights are actually stop and tail bulbs. Double contact,double filament. They double up as feeler lights when you indicate. Take out headlights to change.
 
When you put on your indicators the feeler lights will stay on constantly until the indicator goes off. They are there to illuminate anything which may cause an obstruction when turning.
 
You never knew cos theyre not particularly good at what they do! You prob dont know that you have speed sensitive steering as well,and if you hold down the off button on the climate control it brightens the display when the lights are on.
 
nope i didnt the speed sensitive steering makes sense cos it feels very light round town especially compared to the impreza and havent done much with the climate control it automatically turns on the ac when on it might have helped if i got an owners manual :icon_grin:
