well peoples its a uk spec impreza turbo have full turbo back exhaust walbro pump 255 k&n panel filter. fuel pressure regulator.NGK iridium plugs. VF 28 turbo !{ thanks to FROGGY} & a S T I Topmount I C .anyway with a REMAP how many horses should i get.????????
 
depends how much boost you want to run

1 bar will get you around 270 brake
1.3 bar will get you around 290 brake

keith555 ran 330 on his uk turbo but had front mounted intercooler,440 sti injectors and 1.5 bar of boost
 
Full turbo back exhaust, so he already has de-cat!
she's basically got sti type R setup now!
So I'd say you'll have over 300bhp!
She'll be a little rocket. you wont know yourself!
It will literally feel twice as quick as standard!
Have fun with her, and do concider signing up and doing the ISDC members only trackday we are running in Septamber!
That will show you how far you can push your new found power!

What size are they?? and what would they be able for if you upped the pressure to 3.5 bar with reg??

sti v5/6 top mount no advantage cooling wise over stock. Although does look a lot better. Your irish v6 00 already has standard 440cc injectors. Wat make is your fuel reg? Reg pressure only on mapping day set to about 2.8-2.9bar be sufficent. The heads mainly cam profile are the main difference between the irish car and sti. With the vf28 and above mods on irish engine would be mapped about the 1.35 bar area and would expect to see about 280bhp area.

yep v5/6 uk/wrx/sti all had 440cc outta factory. These will not straight fit v1-4 though. irish/wrx v1-4 had 380cc so 440cc is the upgrade of choice when modding these.
