Hi lads, have a v6 STI engine that i thinking of selling, i will sell the complete engine with the intercooler and fresh vf28 turbo, only mod is an apexi down pipe which i will let go with the engine, engine was run with standard airbox and only has 100,000kms on it, timing belt only done 8,000 kms ago, and can be heard running before purchase. Anyone who knows subarus, knows how much the v5/v6 sti heads are worth on there own, and your also getting a good vf28 turbo, and apexi down pipe. so i think 1500 euro for the lot is a good fair price. 086 8770618
 
Yea still in car, its in a 2dr so has the adj diff gear box, i have damos old car so am planning on putting the 400bhp setup and engine across into 2dr, but dont know wheter to use the v6 typer box or normal v6 sti box that is in damos, type r box is bit short geared for the 1/4 mile dash, so dont know what to do or which to sell.. want someone to hear this engine and buy so i can take it out and get working at transfer, dnt want to take it out till its heard for buyers peace of mind
 
I'd be afraid that standard type r gearbox might be a bit to weak to handle more torque, especially if you want to use it hard... STI's 6speed box is much stronger they say...

Oh yea, and thats complete engine as it sits in car, ecu be extra. And by the way few lads pm me bout bits and sorry lads i aint breaking her for bits, complete engine for sale thats all :thumbsup:
 
yep,no problem, gear boxes are all same, your v3 will bolt to my 00 engine no prob and you will even get to use my new clutch and all :thumbsup:
 
your kind of after loosing me now im afraid, if your just doing an engine swap there is no prob, i mean if you were putn my engine in to your car with your gear box thats no prob. but if you were to put a type r box with adj dif into a car without adj dif, you would either have to leave it as is and have no adj dif, or get the wiring and tink there little ecu like box for it aswel, nearly impossible i would tink without a doner car
