It was a bargain at 4, its just he is out of work at the minute and with other commitments he just cant afford to run it anymore. There is one bad point, the rear bumper will need a respray cos of laquer peel and powerhosing stripped some of the paint underneath. This shouldnt deter a genuine buyer though and is factored into the price.

It was a bargain at 4, its just he is out of work at the minute and with other commitments he just cant afford to run it anymore. Not all the WRXs put out 280, this is a limited edition WRX RA, which were 280 standard. As far as i know the engine is very similar, the differences between the WRX Sti RA would be DCCD, I/C water spray, some have roof scoops etc. As regards power they are very similar, my mate has a version 6 Sti and this car is just as quick as it.

Just to clear things up. The WRX RA has as said no roof hatch and no DCCD. GC chassis (1992-2000) ·
The WRX Type RA (marketing has made usage of the RA ... downgraded to 220 PS (161.8 kW; 217.0 bhp).

Yes some of these were 217 bhp but the limited edition was not, its 280, anyone that comes to see this car and drives it will know it is not an ordinary WRX.

Did a bit of research click the link below, this lad Yosi I used to deal with in Japan and he wouldnt have his information wrong,
the later WRX RA had 280ps so anyone telling him otherwise is wrong sorry,the difference as already stated is the hatch and the dccd
