hi lads quick question for ye a mate of mine just bought an 05 legacy blitzen its 2.0l single turbo he was told its 280bhp from the factory its an import ,but my wagon an 01 uk wrx with remap blitz exhaust walbro can leave it for dead so now he wants the same type of mods can parts be sourced for these,e.g. decat pipe, walbro pump, induction kit ,ecutek remap ,if so where can i get these parts and who can map it any help would be appreciated thanks

is it an auto? the auto are rated @ 260..those figure are for a car on 100 octane fuel so running e5 is is best bet to get closest to factory output..if he's been using 95 the ecu maybe in limp mode if he disconnects the battery for a while and puts e5 and booster in it should advance the timing with less knock. your car would also have shorter gearing and about 100kg lighter. speak to dave legacy @ sti tunning(traders section) about modding and mapping..hard to find bits for the bl legacy

thanks ill tell him his is a manual its a nice car has 18 " rims bilstein suspension twin exhaust i was on to damo in street performance he is doin some research on it for me just wanted to see has anyone done much with in the club

is it the red one from southside automotive.i have a bl5 also u can get a powertec induction kit,and as said above have a word with dave in sti tuning he wwould be able to sourece anything for u id say

You should try Ai Autosport in belfast for the ecu they are very good my car is with them at the moment getting a new Ecu which is the vipec system and a few other things done as well. They are great at there work and very good with der prices.

not a lot of parts readily available for these aftermarket. only a few companies do parts for them and they are crazy expensive, like 950 euro for a zero sports downpipe! :dontknow: Best option would be custom exhaust.

They come with 276bhp twin scroll turbo and 250ft l/bs of torque on jap fuel. small turbo is the bottle neck capable of about 305-310@fly

standard intake with an aftermarket panel filter is good up to stage 350ish and intercooler.

Remap with turbo back exhaust and fuel pump and injectors would be a good start :653:

or look into bolt on turbo upgrades. which would be more NCT friendly, and get you more power!

as far as i know the spec c turbo is a vf36, has different downpipe and headers, a big conversion job. vf44 is a direct change but only a newer version of vf38 from the 06 models. rumour has it turbo from new impreza sti could be an easier fit

I'd imagen spec c headers, up pipe and turbo would be cheaper than a brand new scooby turbo!
A lot of used spec c stuff available, with so many lads going for gt spec headers, single scroll up pipe and big sigle scroll turbos!

Leggies are so pretty
