i got one in june , must say its a great car , the green i felt is to much and the blue not enough ,that left white .

must bring it to a monthly meet sometime as long as no one would say , 'thats a nice volvo ' , 'its a shame its not 4wd' :thumbsup:
 
@denis.. how does it drive performance wise, handling , brakes . Sick up a pic of it

Have to agree with Ken If I was going the hatch route I'd go for the RS but if the performance was not there then thats another thing

From what ive seen and read, there ment to be very good, considering 300bhp through front wheels..

Dennis i was jus gonna pm you to see how she was going for you
Agreen one passed me on the motor way one day, i seen it coming from way off, and have to say, it looked like a WRC..
think its a real shame and a disgrace that Subaru werent able to produce something like this
Also i could be wrong but think the RS didnt hit the highest tax bracket either

Saw a green RS in Galway this evening at half 6, it looked and sounded amazing.
Had a nice reg too: RS59 JOB
 
Would love to see a back to back test comparing the RS and the hatch STI
I do like the RS, but I love the hatch, if for nothing else the technology in her!

be good too see the comparison, i think the rs could suprise, it only is loosing power through 2 whels instead of Subarus 4..

Come on Dennis, give us the details, what you think of the Rs, you should be able to give it a good honest review
 
Just on the AWD vrs FWD,
The New VW golf R (the new R32) And the new Leon Cupra R have identical motors,
Vw is Awd and Seat is Fwd, The Vw was quicker on track than the Seat on 5th gear whwn tested!

Well EVO mag took the RS500 Focus over the Cosworth STI so.....
 
Is the rs500 much up on power over the Rs... the mat black finish looks mean, but think id rather the white
 
Dan is the Leon putting out same power as golf???
Just because same engine is used, there can be a big difference in power.
Wasn't the old AUDI S3 the same engine as golf GTI but yet had near 100bhp more???

the RS has 350bhp the Cosworth impreza has 400

Indeed Ken,
Just googled it, both cars 2.0 T and both 260 odd bhp!
Tiff said the Leon felt quicker and more focused, but the AWD VW was simply quicker!
