You have some neck talking about club spirit, look at the reply you gave me when i tried to help you
i tried to be helpfull and give you some advice thats all, and i get sh*t on for it,
Dave comes on, gives you same advice backing up what i have said and you thank him?

Look man this has got out of hand, you picked me up wrong , I got pissed off by your response saying about running it on the old map and I could have worded that post better as not to offend you or any of the lads.I thanked Dave because he didnt tell me to drive my car up my own arse that is all. I know I have come across as the tosser in this thread believe me ,but I just wanted to know some more about the car as it mans alot to me thats all no crime there.

I was talking to him about it before over a year ago but didnt get alot of info on it, there was also another owner after rusty I think but he only has 17 posts
 
The only reason i tried to help you was because im well aware of what the car means to you. I cant see why you would get pissed off at me for advising you to make sure and map for your new engine regardless of who or what it was mapped for previously. My advice was purely to give your car/ new motor the best chance of lasting for you.
Anyway just forget about it now.

Hey Lads I bought the car from Murt it had been mapped by Martin Tracey. I had bought the car with the intention of fitting a stronger engine bigger turbo etc. In the mean time a evo tme rs came up for sale so I decided to buy that and tune it as it was a much better car for what I wanted. Anyway the guy I sold the wagon to brought it up north to east coast customs to have a boost controller fitted and a remap.

Sadly that is all I can tell you as I sold the car and to be honest I didnt really care what was done with it after me.

Perfect thats all I wanted to know, Why didnt he just use the autronic boost control in stead of wasting money on a boost controller I wonder
