sweet car ya got off funnyclub :worship: :subaru:

Sorry to bump this up ,does anyone know who last mapped this car before funnyclub sold it? I have 2 conflicting storys, one says that a well known tuner who is 100% sure it didnt make over 300hp on his rollers, and the other is a northern tuner and was mapped for e5, and there's a printout for 320hp and 322 torque.

As you all may know from my project thread the engine basically ate itself and I have other reports of it going through a few pistons aswell that were replaced.

Anyone know anything about this car could you kindly pm me?

Martin Tracey mapped it when it was first built by Murt, It hasd an autronic ecu in it then
Cheers

ok I know that much , I dont think Martin was the last peson to map it though

I wouldnt be worrying or thinking about who mapped it before, thats in the past, has no relevance now, your going to the expense of doing a rebuild, dont fook it all up by running your new built engine on an old engine map.
Get your car up and running, run it in for 1k miles and get her mapped.. thats the only way to do it right,

I think he's looking to know so he can avoid them next time.. Seeing as the engine had a few pistons replaced and then finally let go completely :dontknow:

Look man man I think your getting the wrong end of the stick here as do most people on this site. I only want to know the history of the car, not to be told what to do with it in the future, I plan to run it in next month and Simon is over mapping in march so hopefully I''ll have it ready for him.
I never once said I was planning to run the car indefinitely on the old map.

You know what you do with your car, shove it up your fookn ****.
Dont give 2 fooks what you do with your car in future, was only trying to advise you. Live and learn.

In fairness Kenc was only trying to help and he received attidude in return.....

And baz maybe calm down a bit. No one out to get you. As john said above martin tracey mapped it when murt had it and maybe try pm funnyclub see if he got it mapped. He would have been up in a.I
autosport up north a lot with his evo. But he would have to confirm. And who knows if mods were changed after the map like exhausts or induction or did an injector feck up?
Who knows? Therefore makes no odds who mapped as it may have nothing to do with them. Or may have been mapped for e5 and booster and was driving hard on 95 ron.

You've spent a good amount of money on your new build and look into the future and enjoy her from this point on. And fingers crossed as much as ye can being a subaru hope you have years hassle free motoring..

Dave.
