Either the Tommi Makkinen or Skyline GTR. Used to have twin turbo Supra that a bought crash repairable and fixed it up but really didn't like the drive in it and couldn't get insured anywhere so sold her on! :thumbsup:

My friend in his skyline is in this position at the moment, his car was rammed through a set of steel gates and basically is getting the money for the car, so 20 grand he will have, but he's looking at the s2000. what you's think of them?

I really like the s2000, some machine and that rev happy engine is just a real joy to drive :thumbsup:
 
love the s2000 to bits but dont think i would buy one if given the chance to have this money.

would he not go for another skyline
 
Your right on that one Keith, If I had the money for a s2000 I would deff buy something else, save a lil bit more or sell someone :p
and buy a R34
 
Yeah I would like something different myself but basically skylines are like arseholes these days, everyone has one. and then you dont see the s2000's that much. and with no weight in it it'd be a rocket go kart. I think he wants to go down the route of not having to do or replace anything too, like the 2000 is perfect as it is ye know. and honda aswell so reliability is a big factor here.

He actually narrowed it down to an evo 7 i think, an impreza sti, dc5, rx8, and s2000 and from this he got impreza and s2000. but the way he thinks is that if you see an impreza on the road, you look at it and say thats a nice car, but you look at an s2000 and you say thats a class car. not common so he likes that too.

I cant imagine them being too hard on insurance either and petrol too. so there you go!! :dunno:
