:icon_biggrin: so true!

She is gone, the man from Galway didn't close the deal and was to come back on Tuesday, had a call Tuesday morning from a polish guy asking for my back details so he could give me a deposit for the car! Ya right!!! Wednesday morning had a call from a guy who was told by the polish lad to come down to Clare pick up the car and pay me the asking price! Believe it or not, 5pm, he arrived, paid me and took the car!

Shocked is not the word, car is heading to Poland! They are exporting cars from here! Any way happy days, or they will be if I can get back to scooby's some time soon!

Hi are they pay u in cash or through PayPal? Coz I have one guy wanna export the car as well and ask me is that ok pay by PayPal, is that can be trusted or not?

borrowed from PH:
PayPal Scam

The legitimate seller is e-mailed by an interested "buyer" or scammers. The scammers suggest making payment through the secure payment site PayPal, and claim to have transferred the agreed sum into the seller's PayPal account. However, they've actually transferred nothing. The scammers say PayPal is holding the money until they've received the goods. It is likely you'll receive e-mails that claim to be from PayPal - they'll look authentic and reassure you that it's safe to proceed. These are fake

We use paypal a lot in Our business. Never Had any trouble.
Can`t understand how people can be fooled with these scams! It`s so clear , once payment received Paypal emails You . You check Your balance , money is there , happy days.
There is no way They can get Your money back unless You do a refund

people have seen the same niche in the market i saw in the mid 00's here

cars going here, for frankly retarded money, and the same cars in the UK half the price,

import, register and sell for profit

id say thats what all the forigne lads are doing now

i mean a fecking Blob STi for little over 5K :shock2: :shock2: :shock2: can you imagine the price of that if Bertie hadn't flecked us all over lol

just to put that into perspective, my B4 was bought right at the end of the "boom" for 4K+ and that was a doddgy car, no tax or NCT and beaten seven shades of sh!te :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:
