Hi all,
We have a 2015 Forester that while it was our favorite car - unfortunately it looks like the head gasket is gone and I wont have the time to do anything with it.
The Good - In Good nick apart from the engine - Heated seats sunroof, good alloys and a set of hardly used Michelin Crossclimates on the four corners. good cloth interior.
The Bad - The DPF light was on and the Head Gasket ( we suspect) went the day after we had decided to bite the bullet and get a job done on the DPF. lots of white smoke and no power.
The NCT will be out next month.
Is there anyone on here that would be interested in taking her on as a project or as a parts car before I go to Donedeal/Dismantlers? Or any suggestions on how best to dispose of her in a good direction? We are all fond of her but she has to go.
