Arent you doing the same or is it that a 1.5 isnt fast enough for a bodykit ?

:hand:

Yeah I 'm fitting a kit.... but to begin with the car is a well sorted quick car! I'm not pretending it's something it isn't...! I've always owned good driving cars....whether it was my first car...a 1000cc mini sprite (real granny's mini with chequer seats) that I stripped and fitted a Stage 1 kit to at the age of 17.... or whether it's the current scooby i have. I guess I just don't like tarted up cars that don't drive well.... and figure if you're really into cars you'd buy something fun to drive rather than something that just looks good! The money you'd spend on that replica would buy you a well sorted 1380 mini that would go like sh1t off a shovel and cheaper on insurance and tax!

I see what your saying but i'd say theres alot of people on here who had 1.6 with sti spoilers. etc Its just to make your car look better. Wide body looks better than standard so why not. Your putting a widebody kit on your car which will look mental  but its not a 22B or or WRC so you are pretending its something that its not. Some people own subarus for their looks, some for performance.
Sorry if im annoying you just find it interesting  :subaru:

Dont see any harm in it lad, most of us around would know its not a 22B so no real harm!!

Much rather see a copycat scoobie doo on a 1.5/1.6 than to see another p**y 1.3/1.4 Civic flying round with

go faster stickers, pointless induction kit and ridiculous kit on it!! :thumbsup :multijump:

Ahhhhhh you're not annoying me... There's two issues here... cars that are made to look well but don't go quick.... or a car that is quick that's made to look well! The latter of which is what I'm doing and most of us on here! I just can't stand showy cars that can't actually go quick. As I said.... buy yourself something cheaper if starting out that has a bit a poke but not crippled by insurance! Hence the mini suggestion! My mini was sh*t fast... well... felt sh*t fast... coz you were sitting 6 inches off the ground and it went round corners like nothing else I've ever driven!

I specifially didn't want to do a 22B rep... and WRC kit is just something different to a standard Type R! I'll never be pretending it's anything more than a type R with fat arches! I'd never try and pass it off as the real mc coy! Anyway... in my mind the WRC car from 97/98/99 was the best looking Subaru ever built.. end of! So why not have something looking that sweet sitting in your garage with the some what practicality of being a standard quick type r..? Looks & performance!

I have no problem with this kind of think,
As long as there are no false badges!
Any wide arched car is cool, It's an excelent performance enhancing and practical mod
A wide arched type r absolutely kicks ass!
