412bhp 420ftlb 2.5 engine and turbo.. Thinking of selling
Hi lad. im just testing to see if any interest in this, im thinking of selling this set up that was in Damo Streetperformance old car... it was abrand new 2.5 block, fitted with custom Cp pistons, head gaskets were matched to heads to get optimum compression ratio, v5/6 heads that were fitted with supertech internals, only built about 3k miles ago, 1k of which were run in miles and rest were comuting in Dublin, its a Sp turbo which is capable of around the 430bhp mark and is not laggy. It was dynod in scooby clinic at 412bhp and 420ftlbs of torque at only 1.4 bar on 95 plus lucas booster. some torque was even mapped out at that figure to try keep gear box in one piece.. Engine with the forget pistons is capable of around 480. think Andy F is running more do with same engine, but a 430 430 car is very easily and safely got and with no lag. I would be selling without inlet manifold and injectors..again im just thinking bout it and want to see if anyone interested.
