Very few other car brands out there that you could take one of there modern engines out and drop it into 94 car and it fits no bother with Subaru you can. I know some people say that's because they have not moved with the times but for me if it's not broken don't fix it.
Ah the new stuff is light years ahead and no comparison but it's sh*t and won't last pissing time but sure isn't that what they want
 
That youtube chanel I watch "savage geese" fella always going on about the fact that when the gizmos on modern stuff goes wrong it's going to break you alright

G30 is some motor , expensive.
I have the F10 . 160kkm
Routine maintenance plus
2 broken front Springs , one under warranty.
A window regulator under warranty.
2 year warranty on used Bmw.
Maintenance straight forward for diy.
Parts and labour from BMW expensive.
 
BMW m50 was a cracker and the s50 was the same engine just with a few extra bits and used in the e46m3
