6 speed Group N gearbox Mount

Used so has some surface rust, nothing more than a few weeks on the car would do anyway. Solid rubber is perfect, no cracks or anything.

I think there is a difference in the thickness of 6spd and 5pd, effectively if im correct that would drop a 5spd down away from the body of car more than its standard mount

May help if you also rename your thread title to say it will fit a 5 speed too ;-)

Nope they are the same mounts, for instance the Group N Engine Mount kit that Subaru sell's is the same kit for either a car with 5 speed or 6 speed ;-)

May have to agree to disagree on that, my 6spd box fowld the body because i used the old 5spd cradle and mount, and 2 ways around this is to bash the rib on tunnel or use the 6spd mount

That is because you used the 5 speed craddle nothing to do with the transmission mount ;-)

If you wont take my word for it check out STI Prt numbers SPE179 and SPE184 or if you dont beleive them maybe RCM part numbers would help convince you SPE82 and SPE764, it may be only 5mm in difference but there is a difference never the less
