To compare 90's with 2000 onward like for like;
DC2 type-r vs. DC5 type-r I'd have the DC2(have previously owned both)
Evo VI vs Evo VIII I'd have the VI all day
22B vs S206 it'd be 22B
300zx vs 370z I'd have the 300zx if only for the turbos.
Mazda RX7 vs RX8 its the RX7 for me
R34 vs R35 i'd take the R35
EK9 vs EP3 I'd have the EK9

Fast new cars are for people who want to go fast. Old school cars are for fast drivers.

RUF Yellowbird. Lightweight,Manual no Traction control or DSC. Looks like a blast.

Compare that to this much faster lap but boring almost.

GTR R35. 1800kg, paddle shift, Traction control, Stability control, EDC, DSC, KY Jelly. Ultimitely not as satisfying as bareback. :653:

Given the choice though i would still have one of these and probably will someday.

M3 E92 V8 1600kg, Paddleshift, EDC ABS etc...

ye but the only thrill is the closeness to death and its modded in every way its not a standard 911

That yellow bird video and this 1990 pikes peak vid are two of my favourite ball out driving videos ever bloody heros :goodpost:
