I thought that also, they made peak power at just under 6.5k, why did he need to rev off the clock.

With that turbo the peak power is probably higher up the rev range.

No, on the dyno readout peak power was achieved at 6485rpm. So no need to rev the t!ts off it.

The turbo only starts really spooling around 4.5K rpm ans is only in full swing at 5 - 5.5K if you changed at 7K you'd have a very narrow rev range, I dare say the engine is built to take the revs!
I would love if the forester would rev like that!
