I am going to have to muffle the wagon! I love the sound, but in fairness, its too loud. It has a s/s cat back with scorpion back box, 5" tailpipe in good nick. Anyone have anything that is not so anti social :angry1: that they will sell. Would like to hold onto my own, but for some reason if someone wanted a swap or something that would be good too.

Might be the right job alright. Not 100% that i like the size of the tailpipe on this though. Might get one of the bungs anyway and see how it goes :thumbsup:
 
I have a plasma one on mine like the one Ian has for sale passed nct twice with it on the car without an issue and nice big tailpipe I think looks well could be an option
 
Thanks. Just after buying a bung there on ebay. The main thing was for the nct so if it works, i'll be happy to keep the exhaust i have.

@wagonwheel if your not happy with the bung and looking for a system that doesn't drone on the motorway and has a nice low burble but a nice roar when you give it the beans try a Jetex system from Revolution Motorstore in the uk.

I have one on my wagon , great system,reasonably priced for a cat back and will fit both 2.5" and 3" downpipes
 
Have a prodrive on mine with sports cat not 2 loud on idel but comes alive when you give is some.
 
@barry yea i think classics are louder more gruff flat four ness (not the 2.5 like in yours)

ok I would think they sound the same as the exhaust manifold are near identical . And using the same exhaust and headers that fits a 2 litre on mine so sounds the same imo
