Here we go...

I am going to sell my 1998 Subaru Impreza STi Wagon very sadly. This car has served me for the last 4 years without any bigger issue. The engine is in top condition. I love this car and treated her with respect and never abused the beauty and looked after her very well. Most of you know her and have seen her performing in Mondello (until the radiator-hose went... Pity).

Unfortunately I have to sell her now.
The car has been serviced by my self every 10.000 km.

The price I am looking for is €8500.- o.n.o. (For club members I will have a special price. Please contact me, if interested.)

It comes with the following extras: (All mods, repais and extras are build in by my self.)

* Power Stearing
* 5-Speed Manual Transmission
* Lexus Style tail lights
* Dragon decal (Can be removed easily without a trace. If you buy the car, I can do that for you if you want)
* Alloy wheels
* Build-in Car PC with 7.4" Flip-in-Display with build in Aplifier and Radio
* Trackball / Mouse in center console
* Mini PC Keyboard in Center Console
* Sat-NAV (Navigon on PC)
* MP3 files can be copied onto the PC
* MP3 player in Car PC software included
* DIVx player
* DVD Rom to play DVD movies
* Clear-Glas head lights
* HID-Lamps (hight adjustable)
* Additional high-beam ralley lamps (not on the picture)
* 20 LEDs in front spoiler (like Audi has it now in it's frontlamps) a must see. Unfortunately I do not have a picture off them yet.
* Leather Momo Stearing Wheel with Airbag
* Turbo Boost Gauge
* M3-Style side mirrors
* Subaru sport seats
* Driver and passenger airbag in the front
* Remote door lock/unlock with Alarm and imobilizer (Laserline system)

The engine modifications are as follow:

* Bailey Dump Valve
* Upgraded intercooler
* Ninja Style stainless exhaust with decat center peace from the front
* All new Samco water pipes and hoses
* Upgraded radiator (alloy)
* Walbro upgraded fuel pump
* Fuel pressure regulator with gauge
* Manual turbo boost regulator
* K&N open air intake kit
* Superchips chipped
* 1.1 bar turbo boost (Boost controller valve manually)
* BHPs unknown. The car was tested in Germany on a rolling road with 100 Octane fuel with over 300 bhps.

New and replaced or refurbished parts;

* Water temperature thermostat
* Water temperature sensor (both)
* Knock sensor
* Turbo pressure sensor
* Oxigen sensor
* Timing belt (3000 km ago)
* Alternator belt (3000 km ago)
* Alloy rims (14 month old)
* Tyres (3 month old)
* Carved and drilled break discs (front)
* New pads on rear breaks (from Feb 2008) incl Handbreake pads)
* Turbo charger refurbished 2 years ago
* Gearbox (~50000 km)
* Clutch "New" (was replaced with gearbox last year)
* New anti-roll-bar links, joints and bushes (done in Feb 2008)
* Spark Plugs replaced last year (~ 5000 km ago)

The car got NCT this year Feb without any problem. The environmental check has best results.

If you need to know further details, please contact me on 086 3886237 or send me a PM.

To view the car, please contact me to arrange an appointment. The car is located in Wexford at the moment.
I am waiting for a new alloy rim to come over from Germany, since one rim has some scratchmarks and a slight dent.
The old rim is still fine and not losing air and could be used as a spare wheel.

I deliver her to your home place if needed. Please ask for details. Delivery in Ireland is free (NI and ROI only).

nice spec..personally i would take those graphics off..I cant see them being a selling point and IMO would deter more buyers than attract.

Is it a genuine STI or a spec'd up wrx?

good luck with the sale

spec'd up WRX I think.

I also agree with Dagnut. I cant see the graphics or rear lights being a great selling point.

I agree with the lads.. Lose the dragon, and possibly the lexus tail lights. Lot of car for small money.

A genuine STi should have the larger spoilers (those are the WRX ones) and the front strut brace should be carbon also I think.

Thought I'd be the only wagon up for sale on the site as I'm putting mine up for sale in the next week or two. Same price too...!!!! Damn it...
Can only praise how practical a wagon is. They are a great car.

Best of luck with the sale akki....

I can see the point guys...

I will remove the dragons. Maybe she will go then a bit quicker :icon_redface:

But anyway... Thanks for the honest opinion. Sometimes your taste is not the common taste :1poke:

Ohhh... And yes... She had the large roof spoiler, when I got her, but this was smashed in a carwash. I decided to go with the smaller version thou.

Cheers...
