... Thanks to all fellows helping me with my questions.
I finally found the the black and green connectors to read out the "Check Engine Lamp".

The status is, that the blink code gices me "22". From the list it seems to be the Knock Sensor.

Does that mean that the sensor has detected knocking or does that mean the sensor is actually defect and should be changed.

Since the CEL is not on all the time but just sometimes for a few seconds up to several minutes. But it only happend when the engine is war. Never when cold.

Any ideas?

Cheers

means its fcuked, you could try a reset and drive it to see if it comes on again. but if its the only fault showing and it has shown the light more than once i'd change it. about 90+vat. make sure you clean under sensor before you put the new one on, and torque it down

Thanks,

I have resetted and it cam back, but as I said, only sometimes.

And yes, it is the only fault reported.

I think I'll take the advise and get a new sensor.

Thanks a mill for the hint.

Now....

I have changed the knock sensor. That was a bit of a hassle :angry1:

- Remove Intercooler (Bit dodgy to get the hose off the second Turbo, especially if it is hot!) :wall:
- Remove some of the water hoses from the heating ( :hammerhead: :icon_hang:) That is so stupid, who ever invented that should be shot :1poke:
- Swap the knock sensor and put everything back together....

Done. Now the lady is without any error and runs smoothly. Next task... Get her mapped.
I am thinking about the Motek piggy-back ECU. Is there any other system on the market which has a good reputation? Any ideas?

Thanks to all helping hints and tips from you guys.

Oh... I found also the problem with my alarm system, why the damn thing didn't gave any peep nor tone when triggered.
The bloody backup speaker had a exploded battery (Yes lads... blown up loke a little grenade) inside and the circuit board was completely fried. This short circuit has also destroyd the main controller.

I bought an Autopage alarm system and put it in. Quite a task. Took me good 6 hours to install everything and get the system programmed to my needs.
But a hell of a system. Pager alarm, remote start, passive arm and lock, anti hijack function etc....

Nice thingy...
