Yea but you cant get a v5 or v6 type r in the sonic blue colour without it being a V limited, at least ive never seen one.
Paul yours is a 4dr so different thing all together, and its an RA limited, not a V limited. And another thing, just because a car is 1999, doesnt mean 100% its a V5, it could be an early v6..
Any way we are messing up Billys thread now with our shite, But 150% Billy your car is called a Type R V Limited, no matter what any fools say on Phone

As guys wrote above type-r ver5 limited didn't have number plaque in the centre console. only v6 had ones

sorry for the spam..mine has a roof hatch.its a 98 v5 type r..Does that mean its a v limeted too? just cause of the hatch?

It is very possible it is deco as the Limited editions only came with a roof hatch.

However, a roof hatch can be installed so best way to know is to check your chassis number. If it is GC8F2DD then you have a Limited model.

checked the codes on my car .....it is a 1999 wrx sti type r v5 v limited sonic blue....
and looking at donedeal its worth fook all

il get some new pics up with the new janspeed exhaust and window deflectures..

That thing with the speedo I had the same prob it turned not to be a fooked speed sensor just at the gearbox.
Got a used one from jap parts in uk 15 quid sorted it.
Cracking car btw

Is that the japspeed downpipe in the picture? With the lambda relocated just after the turbo or is that standard on the type r?

Has the car been mapped?

its a full brand new 3inch stanless janspeed exhaust,its the big mouth decat the lambda is in the same place as old exhaust but there is a blank at the top for i dont know what, i have the rear silencer out but its there for it,i didnt map the car as i dont drive hard or much and its running on a mix of proboost,i never mapped my last type r after putting an exhaust on it and that was my daily for a year and i never had any problems,theres no mods on the car anyway its standerd,if there was mods id get it mapped..
