Accident

Ouch. Think both drivers were going a bit too quick if your alloys are smashed and the airbag went. Very sorry to see but I hope your GF is OK and you get sorted.

That's a serious whack.. Sorry to say but I'd reckon that's a right off.

What exactly did she hit...? Or was she fairly lit...?

Sorry to see this, unfortunately cant see it being anything other than a write off :icon_cry:

And thats a serious bill, they sure know how to do their sums :icon_hang:

Holly sh*t. Rally type damage. Might be a battle ahead to sort this one with insurance. Change wheels to original Sti rims maybe before they see it so at least they cann't come at you with that.

I'd be having words with ur girlfriend. That's a high speed hit. Any chance there is no other driver and she came into roundabout too hard like 60mph

As the lads said thats a write off. Also big speed involved , looks like your missus owes you a car

Sorry to hear man, but thats a defo write off for sure.

Hope herself is ok, but i think she may have been going abit too fast.

Thats a shame, hopefully she is not injured, serious bill from tow company also. hope insurance company play ball with you.

Hope your girlfriend is ok and not too shaken up, looks like it was quite an impact.
Sorry to see your car in such a bad way, don't think that will be back on the road :dontknow:

To be honest lads there doesn't look to be too much `major` damage
Roof doesn't look to be linked and chassis leg looks intact
I would say its fix able...
Taking off the damaged wing and the bonnet will take the worst of the bad look off it!
Hopefully it isn't as bad as it looks at first glance!!!

Must have hit some size of a curb to smash the wheels like that suspension dmage is a cert
Possibly wish bones and steering rack as well

If its written off it will be lower scale beyond econômcal repair and not unsafe for road use category

Hopeshe is ok! The cars replace able! A human life isnt

sorry to see this car in such a state...... def high speed and i would question her bout ' other car ' also

wasnt expecting it to be that bad.......def a write off.... have seen cars with less damage written off.

did cops say anything bout her leaving scene of an accident.... they could pursue her over dangerous driving also

i think insurance could say say she wasnt driving the car and refuse payout

I could be wrong but is it not deemed unsafe once the airbags go?

I wouldn't go quizzing her if it were my GF anyway. Whether she was going too fast or not or if there was another car or not only she'll know. Questioning her would only upset her if she's still in shock and she might feel like you don't believe/trust her. She already has to deal with the guilt of wrecking the car.

My 2 cents on it anyway. :)

Bonito
Airbags can be deployed at a certain angle of colision with a deceleration rate of 23kmh or more meaning if a car doing 14mph (23kmh) hits a solid object and stops instantly the airbags will deploy

Airbag deployment does not instantly signify the vehicle is a write off!!!

Hope this helps for future reference!

Cheers for that.

Front bumper, grill, headlight, fog cover, minimum headlight panel, slam panel, wing, inner valance, airbags, maybe airbag sensor, drive, shock, wisboone, gud chance wheel came back again the arch and drove up onto body aswell, possibly steering rack, anti roll bar, sub frame, every chance there is a kink under car aswell. That's a nasty smack.
Very very strange that ur woman left the car instead of ringing you. I wouldn't think cops are going to bite on the story and I'd say she will be looking at a minimum of leaving the scene if an accident charge, with the type of car and speed that must have been involved on a roundabout she could face more, lucky she didn't kill someone really.
With regards of not questioning her? From the state of the car questions may be asked
