Im looking for a good working actuator for a v1/v2 wrx as i think mine is knackered, car is running td05h side entry turbo

i don;t think its your issue. so really would advise check over prior.

Ok well at last i think i may have found the real problem to my under boosting,

Took the intercooler off to check the condition of the pipe and i found this.....

A dirty great big crack at the part that connects to the turbo so i think this may be the problem???

Im gonna patch this up and see if it makes it any better, if so i will get a new pipe for it and hopefully it will fix the problem.

Ok just patched it up with some silicone and took it for a spin and i got boost again although it did splutter a bit when i put the foot to the floor in higher gears but hopefully thats just a faulty plug or coil either way im a happy camper

Good job i didnt let ye waste money actuator. Its very very rare to be actuator or boost solinoid.

As in the last 4years i have never come across one instance where either of the above was the fault.

Im glad too i didnt waste my money changing actuators or other bits and it was just something simple like this, now i can drive it again and get some joy out of it
