I have already fitted the 3" exhaust and Andy F is doing the remap this weekend  :D

Lets hope Andy can work some magic and get these figures  :headbanger:

Well if anyone can tune it to 350bhp Andy can. Well my car is pushing out about 100bhp at the minute but maybe next year :lol: :subaru:

Michael Spec C i stand to be corrected but i never heard
of a power pack producing 350bhp ?????????

Last year it was TSL's 333 pack witch one best overall
ie. performance, price etc........ but as the name says, it was 333bhp
not to sure on torque figure.

That car might be 300bhp on 101RON in japan but no way on 98, 97 or 95RON.

Now i hope im not putting a dampner on your mapping day it's just or shitty
95RON really is a balls.............what ever the result i know you'll be happy with
the car afterwards

P.s did it take ya long to wash all the paw prints of your car  :D :D after the AGM
Sweet looking motor even better in the flesh  :thumbsup:

Hello Niall,

I am running the car on octane booster (Lucas NF) and was going to get Andy to Map it @ 95 plus octane.

I know the 350 is a very high figure, but I can dream. The spec c normally comes in about 306bhp when brand new and not run in, that's what litchfield and a couple of others say in the uk. The exhaust should up that figure with the remap helping with torque etc.

Lets see what happens....

I will be happy once the car is safe  :thumbsup:  :thumbsup:

I had the car in for the repairs to the wing etc for the last three days, they gave it a good wax etc...  So no prints on it now.....  :dance:

You also have alot better chance of hiting it with the Twin Scroll turbo that is on your car.

As said the TSL figure is achieved on a vf34...................

The spec c using a vf37 twin scroll  turbo, equal length headers etc etc is actually is very possible................... :D :D
 
This should be a very interesting mapp
i've always wondered what the benefits of a twin scroll
turbo V's a big fu*k off turbo might be especially when mapped.

Looks Like Dave Lewis might have some competion for this years

Hello Niall,

Just got a roger clake induction kit today, I will be fitting on tonight before the remap. This might help things.

I was speaking to Damo today, he said the as that car is getting a road map, rolling road figures might not be that great at all.

Lets see what happens......  :thumbsup:

Ya he is spot on
I think we will give you an extra 20bhp ;) just for having
a new spec C in the first place.

The RR will give a false KNOCK reading and cut your run short.
I had my car mapped by Andy :D but on the Rollers at Martin Tracey's
he stopped the run at 291BHP Martin reckons there was easily another 10 maybe
15% left ..............at that point the RR was giving a KNOCK readding of 80 :shock:

The following Sunday i went for a nice blast and redlined her in 1st , 2nd ,3rd & 4th
a couple of times the highest knock reading i got on the Apexi Hand controller
was 43
