air flow metre

right i picked up a 2nd hand air flow metre for the car and its the wrong one anyone have or know where i could get a second hand one its for a 94 uk spec s.t.i thanks
 
Should have a coloured lable on it my own is orange, but there
is green and purple aswell check the old one and go from there,
someone on here might have one lying around :thumbsup:
 
yeah its green i bought an orange one today but ur man was sound he took it back once i shown him its different
 
left the car in to car torque today they checked the air flow metre and said its fine they cant work out whats wrong they reckon it needs to be re mapped heads wrecked andy forrest mapped the car would he have not put a unique lock on the fc commander so no one else can retune it or can i get it retuned easily plus car fucking overheating now the joys i swear :angry1: :angry1: :angry1:
 
He does not lock them, Anyone can come along and map it.

So what happend the heads or what has failed ?
 
I think he means HIS head is wrecked Damo.

@ Mick did they give you a reason why they think it needs to be re-mapped? If I were you id bring it to one of the traders.
 
no he was pretty vague to be honest like it was as if he didnt want the car there it was wierd he said he knows the car and just said they cant find a fault that the power fc might not be working right i am stomped myself fucking thing is over heating now too but only when i drive it hard
