All true bout Japcars!

Well well well, what everyone says is true! Brought my mechanic out to Japcars to check over the Legacy, as soon as I walked in the gate yer man came over an said " ive to put 4 new shocks on her, needs a new rad, timing belt and a tidy up" grand, all can be done before its picked up. Mechanic checks over the car, small bits of rust on the boot, bootlid dont fit right, rust on pne of the wings. again, small things.
Then we drive the car, which was cold. Front Bearings gone, droplinks fu&%ed, no boost in 3rd gear. Complete shed. Looked so good though! Thanks for the advice lads, I was already wary, dont anyone be caught out by not havin a mechanic check a car out. Saved myself a fortune there I reckon

Back to the hunt

What im looking for is a b4, min 2003, preferably white. Ive a 2006 mondeo P/X and we can talk about anythin else. Can do a deal anytime, dyin to get into one, but will wait to find the right one!

Happy but so said ive no boxer engine to play with

Fair play for walkin away dossie01, ur man is a cowboy i made a mistake of buyin off him few years ago, bad choice dats why i suggested look elsewere n the rest of the lads know to, but u didnt part with ur hard earned n will find dat leggy mate!! All the best with the hunt.

i was passing and went in for a look at this, and it didnt seem right, i couldnt tell you a mcrea from an hydroplane engine.
the interior was like a 1.6. maybe im wrong.

Could be wrong but i think dealers can register a car without going down on the book as an owner

Not a penny to spend??? yeah right. If its straight off the boat your looking at around 1500euro for a full major service. Alarm then on top of that.

He would appear to be a dealer so you never know he might have changed the belts already. Worth asking anyway

a good friend of mine works there, and they are not closed down just moving to a new premises

I bought of them as well when they where south side motors..had nothing but good service and never had an issue with my car apart from alternator issues...got it with belts done..car had service stickers on the drivers door frame matching the clock.japaneese paper work..took the car back of me twice without complaint...tried 2 different set of sparks..Dealt with Gavin sound lad...lot of people tried to talk sh!t about them but I would highly recommend them..they sell loads of legacies as well so they know what there looking at

Each to there own opinion,
From the horror stories iv heard,
I personaly wouldn't deal with them.
I didn't say a bad word about any of the lads in there either.
