and we thought our cars were fast !

I drove a Gallardo a couple of weeks ago at a supercar day..@500hp it felt plenty fast to me I can't even imagine what 1500 is like

@ dagnut, if ya dont mind me asking, what supercar day and where did ya do it?
Im going to do one of these this summer in the UK and trying to figure out best one/place to do it.

I did it with

http://www.driveme.net/

But I have to say I was talking to a lad there and he said Truxton was far better, I'm booking this next

The driveme.net the track is too small, It's great when you haven't driven cars of the caliber before
but I would spend the extra and go for Thruxton, you get more time, newer cars

I did silverstone in the aston lasst year, its unreal. I wanted a F1 track

Maybe we could organise it as a day out? Might get a decent group discount if we booked it for mid week...

I was looking at the everyman racing site for doing the supercar trackday?
Seem to have a better selection of cars?

Yeah it's not bad but again it's just a track made out on an airstrip...thurxton offers the full circuit and newer cars 458 v 430..SV67o mUicr v Gallardo..plus it's got the single seater racer and the lotus Elise..after being in the Elise it blows the Supercars away for excitement..sounds silly i know but its so small and raw and the cornering speeds are just mental.

This one lookss good as well
http://www.drivingdaysuk.co.uk/

This offers all the famous circuits..as I said above if your going to make the trip over you might as well fork out and extra 100 quid and get the best experiences you can.
I'm not pissing on dirveme.net or everyman...there great days out but there are better..but it depends on what cars you want to drive as well...I'm sure if you drive the GTR with everyman you be able to let it of the leash more than the SV670 at thruxton..considering the GTR is only 60k and the SV670 costs around 250k.

Well im most interested in driving a GTR, nice porsche and after that im easy, ferrari-lambo etc.
Ive driven an elise before and it is excellent but would like to experience others.
Thanks for the suggestions Dagnut, ill look into them before i make up my mind.
I suppose all these placs are restrictive in how they let you drive the car which is my biggest concern!!!
