anti lag what harm can it do?

as the above says what harm can anti lag do or dose it do any harm new to all this so i want to lean as much as i can
 
The common Anti lag or sound effects that is mapped into Road cars wont do any harm, the Proper hardcore Anti lag that involves throttle bypass mods etc etc and whats on rally cars is all right for the brief times they are on stage, on a road car it would kill it in a month i would think, think ive heard of it splitting exhaust manifolds and everything, but thats the hardcore effective Anti lag, not what you get on a Simtec etc etc
