The tariffs i was looking at on Meteor, the HD is €179 on the Smart 50 plan and €229 on the Smart 30/35 plan
 
Dont want to switch to Meteor. Friend is with them and he has nothing but signal problems. He cant switch back to anyone else as he has hundreds in unpaid bills :lol: :lol:

Want to stick with O2 if possible but Im not sure they are or will be doing the HD?
 
Are the nexus one and htc desire pretty much the same?
Which of them would be better?

I think the hd is too dear and id never go on bill pay again.

I think you will find it very hard to get the Nexus One still as HTC stopped producing them, exact same hardware and performance except the desire has a few buttons on bottom of screen where they are on the screen for the Nexus. HTC sense on the desire to so the GUI is a bit prettier to play with

Heh sorry i was still in work mode. HTC add their own "skin" to the android platform called HTC sense its like certain apps and themes that are only available on HTC phones.

GUI = graphical user interface, the software that runs on the phone that you interact with
 
Desire over the nexus one for me :thumbsup:

Pity it doesnt have the voice txt and stuff like the nexus, would that be an app or download :ponder2: love that word nexus.
 
Can the original Desire take the 2.2 software as an upgrade?
