I was getting the car ready for the nct in the morning and was looking around the engine and spotted this lying on the left side of the engine bay on top of the skid panel no part number

It's a 2.5 common problem

As above Oil cap seal can get loose on the cap and fall off when the cap is off
Call bit of gasket sealer on the cap and push the ring into it will keep us from falling off and still seal

Self servicing , always fresh oil in it when you’re topping it up constantly,
