Its not mapped. He thinks it might have been mapped in japan cos its "serious quick", but sounds like a bluffer. and if its running 1.5 bar without mapping, somethings not right.

I thought the front bumper looked off colour but now i look at the wing it looks off too.
 
Don't know the car myself but it looks fairl clean!
I'd suggest it's had a bit of a tip at some stage, the bonnets sitting slightly high
The wing doesnt seem to match colour perfectly nor does the bumper
As long as it's been well fixed it should be fine tho
 
Front end has 2 or 3 shades of white, which is odd because he says it was fully resprayed a month ago proessionally. Front of bonnet seems to sit a bit high. Can you run 1.5 on a standard ECU? Also, is there any benefit running a Walbro without a map?

Might be a worth a look on a ramp though.
 
Yeah, seems like its had a tip and if it got a full respray it was badly done. Too far of a hunt for something with that many concerns from the add. Plenty of good ones out there!!

Bingo. Swin's and Gonzo's aren't too far off the the same price as that and they've both got some tasty extra's. Plus they're both white. :dance:

be careful theres a white one like that knocking around that was smashed, not sure if its that one but have a good look at it...
 
Got a check done on the reg and its registered since 2008 and he says its just in the country. A lot of other things to indicate its had a bad smash, mainly the fact that current registered owner is in galway and car is for sale in wexford, so i think someone bought a crashed car, done a (poor) fix and trying to resell without having put a name on tax book so no proof he ever had the car.
 
Yeah, the wheels are lovely on it. Id nearly go for it myself. He's going for a look anyway and hopefully its as clean as it looks!
 
Well I think we have covered type-r's and prices in a thread some months ago and I think the conclusion was you get what you pay for most of the time.

Just a wee reminder of that folks.
