pretty sure somebody knows something about this car - maybe it was one Jamie looked at before buying his type r?

Its at least 2/3 grand cheaper than current market prices & crazy low mileage too - could be bargain of the century but my spidey senses are tingling with that one I'm afraid
 
Yeah... nearly 100% sure this was the car that broke my heart! I'd a deposit on this back in 2004 before I bought my car. It was like new mint back then... even had that new car smell too.

Irish lad from Roscommon who worked in UK and brought this in new to UK from Japan... then moved back over here with this car. It was on UK plates when I saw it and and it only had 18k miles on the clock and a full Subaru stamped service history. The guy took a decent deposit off me to hold the car while I sold my own and then did a runner along with owing a mate of mine several grand in unpaid rent.

Apparently it had a substantial smack in the front (hence missing V6 splitter) soon after I gave him the deposit and rather then tell me this due to fear I'd walk and want deposit back.... he just did a runner back to Roscommon with deposit and stopped taking my calls. IIRC... the car then got sold on after being repaired and ended up in Donegal... possibly in Galway too at some point too. If it was repaired correctly after original smack... then maybe it might be worth a look.

I'd be a little wary though.
 
think this might have been sold as i seen it in edenderry the other day looked a nice car from a distance
