Any Jdm Foresters up for sale ?

Hey Lads and Ladies,

I'm just on the look out for a 00-02 JDM Forester sti in manaul if possible.
I been searching for the last while and I'm finding difficult to locate one.
Any info or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

All SF5 STI foresters were auto with exception of manual run called STi2 Type M.Only 800 made in them and only seen one in ireland is a members victors black 2001 one.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. :thumbsup: I was'nt aware there was only a limited few of manual vehicles produced.
Looks like the only option is to either go auto or import one from Japan.
I'm a big fan of manual, how does the auto compare in them?
 
Well its an auto .. nice drive. But depends what you want it for.

As an all rounder a manual is better
 
I'll continue the search for a manual, I have never owned an automatic but would'nt rule out buying one.
I may hit pistonheads or a couple of the Jap Auction sites.

jdm forester sti are usually auto you should look for FORESTER STI II Type M
they are the only manual sti I came across (thats from the old shape) :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for that, I prefer the old shape myself.
Spotted a couple on tradeview this morning.
They retain their value quiet well probably because of their relative rareness. :ponder:

To tell you the truth I would'nt know the costs involved in converting from auto to manual.
I'm a complete novice to the Subaru scene. I might look into it all the same.
I don't even know how straight forward it would be.
Have many carried out this convertion ?
