F in law bought it but its for his daughter (the wife)

@ 1650euro on Irish plates and needing 300 euro to put it 100% right......

How it compares I'm not sure! It's braking down on power under boost at 2500/3000k
New coils/leads/plugs needed.

Wrung its neck as best I could and fired it into bends as fast as I could, all I'll say Is they handle way better than my yoke.
I've driven fully sorted 5/6's in anger over the dublin mountains near me and they are a serious machine by all accounts.
My mate had a TM 6 and I threw everything at him on the inter over 10 hot laps on a few track days and I could never stick on his bumper!
Serious car but I just live my impreza no matter what.

One make forums can be a dangerous thing as they hood wink you from other great makes/models!

My advice is try every performance car you y can!

99% of them are fcukin fantastic!! :thumbsup:

Love the look of the 4 Joe but they are dirt!

5/6 for me or none at all serious driving experience over a back road/track :thumbsup:
 
Personaly love the evo s too

Love the Evolution 1 5 7 & 10

Pitty there will be no more of em

Evo 4 engine known for not being as good as the 5

Took a 7 as a trade in few years back savage car great handleing and really really bad interior (except seats)

Also no where near the character of the flat 4 sounds like a hoover (a very rapid hoover)
 
@graham was only taking the p1ss i do like them i think the 6 is a cracking car just could never have one as i love my subaru too much,even if you never drove it and if you knew cars you couldn't leave it there for that money,cheap motor man fair play

Going the fix that Evo up and see what it can do!
I'd never go to the dark side 100%.......

I like a rumble and a proper drivers car :thumbsup:

There is very little driver input I feel with the Evo , it's playstation like!
The Impreza demands respect!!

Love my car and wife the same way... Every condition/day is different with both!

Picked her up on tuesday, but being very busy at work

It is in need of bit of love, but nothing major.
Just a good service, tires are on the way out,
And few annoying things on the exterior.
