Is it the same 6 speed box that's in the Sti but? Or essentially the same 5 speed you have with different ratios and an extra gear...We know it doesn't have DCCD,it might not be as strong as you think..plus I've driven this model and it doesn't exactly eat the gears up, 6th is just a cruising gear...preety sure it won't have the low ratios from the 6 speed DCCD you are looking for..suppose it's a question for the techies but considering Subaru tendency to cut corners with Euro models I can't see them putting the stronger gearbox in this..

i was told there is guys in UK that run these on the track with big power builds as its usually a lot cheaper to get ill also guys in US used them for 6 speed swaps when upping the power a lot. Its probably not needed at my power levels but definitely an option to consider
