Hey all,
I started this thread in the "introduce yourelf section", hope it's ok that i've started it again in "general car chat".
Really close to buying this 04 cork reg b4 from Japcars in Dublin, been to see it and it's really tidy, needs new brake pads and discs and tracking is slightly off.
It's been in the country since Jan 07, but with all the bad things I've read about Japcars i'm obviously really wary of them.
It's got no service history/receipts, so really hoping someone here knows the car!

See if you can find out who the last owner was, I bet ya 100 euro that car's been clocked.
 
Ok. Ok. So there is a question over the dealer and there is a question over the the service history :ponder2: Enough said really.Aside,Do i know you from basketball and are very tall?
 
Hey Dagnut, saw the certificate of ownership.
It's one lady owner from cork. It was brought into the country in jan 07.
Definitely gonna try find a mechanic to have a look.

Don't play basketball but I do love the game and I'm 5ft 7!! Hah. sorry man.

doesn't mean it wasn't clocked I suppose. Very hard thing spot I'm sure!
 
Anyone know of a good mechanic that's willing to go see a car?
Have read that Ciaran Rs Ra is the man to talk to, but not sure how to go about getting touch wiv him.

The car looks lovely but i wouldnt touch it if i were you, my sister bought a car from them a while back, looked mint with extremely low mileage so she bought it and after about a week the there was a problem with the gearbox and they wouldnt do a thing for her, ive heard 101 horror storys about this crowd so in my opinion there bad news.
 
Wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot clown pole,Most of there stuff is garbage.A lot of lads not only on this site but any other car site wouldnt go near jap scarp dublin
