Anybody know this RA?

First questions would be who rebuilt it and who mapped it? Running 1.2bar so it should be mapped.

Haven't seen it on the site here though
 
Yeah 380 at only 1.2 BAR? :ponder2: and why only 1.2 BAR if indeed it has a cosworth rebuild?. And why a VF29? And what is the significance of a 4 branch manifold?

All that is missing there is the usual 22B spoiler trick :icon_biggrin:

Could be a cracking great car, just pointing out the obvious from the add.
 
Its 380 (est) so only a guess i take it. Didnt know that was a valid way of measuring. I so happy cos now i reckon i have 430 (est) :icon_nana:
 
yeah i cant wait until i get the new turbo fitted..I reckon mine will be pushing close to 450bhp lol

I was thinking that aswell. The 34 can't be much dearer are they? My guess it's a salvage or reconditioned one. I'll give him a ring!
 
Id say myself its standard power, with fmic, and i would be suprised if it was mapped, if a car is mapped surely you would say by who

Not a chance 380bhp on a vf29 turbo.

Looks a mint car by the pics doe but were is the roof hatch or am i missing it or something.

Dunno how I missed that! Just a WRX so. Even the STI stickers on the fog light covers looks wrong.
 
Only the WRC or V-Limited would have come with a roof scoop as far as i know so it could still be an sti mate. And plenty of people replace the stickers too.

How did I miss the roof hatch? Cant be a Limited build number then.

Only if it was a Limited edition. Not every 4 door RA has one.

he says its limited and it should be the same as mine on the inside but i cant see the plaque with the build number on it or a roof vent so something not adding up
 
:dontknow: My brother imported an Ra sti from japan, had the vent and wasnt limited edition, just had Type RA on the back

Always thought all the 4door RA's had the vent and the Ordinary Type R didnt come with it , but the V-limited did??
 
All STi typeRA cars had the roof vent the WRX typeRA didn't.

I'd say she is a WRX RA as she has a plaque with the build number in black which is the one in the WRX limited. I'd say over time she has just had STi logos put on her. She also has the blue seats of the limited that came in the STi and WRX but had different stitching on the seat backs. There is also No strut brace. The STi came with one as standard the WRX didn't and theres no red flaking paint on the top of the engine its just silver as the WRX is.

So in a nut shell she is a WRX typeRA limited.
 
Im gonna push the boat a bit further on this one..
The car has an ABS pump, does anyone find that strange?????
