Anybody on here know this sti?

Not trying to be ignorent here but you either want a performance car or you dont.
I cant beleive you have a problem with the fact this guy drove the car on a bit for you.. and turned on anti lag :cuckoo:.
would this not be the best proof for you that this guy has faith in his car, and that there is no issues that he is trying to hide?? notchy gearbox, slipping clutch, knocking engine etc etc :dontknow:

You need to be realistic and not be nieve, at the money you are wanting to spend, you are buying a 7 year old high performance car and lucky to be getting it for the money, if this guy brought you out and drove at 30 mph for test drive, do you think this is any judgement of its 7years of life????

I have noticed that these days with our economy the way it is, when someone has a few notes to spend on a car, they are almost afraid, need reassurance, and almost want a new car for there money even do cars a dirt cheap at moment.
All performance cars will cost money to have on the road, especially our roads :angry1:
So if you have a big concern about things going wrong, i would re think the type of car i was looking at, let the brain rule over heart.
But as regards this guying giving her some shoe, at least he has the cinfidence in the machine to do it
 
i agree with ken. i wouldnt be put off it just because the owner gave it a blast. thats what subarus are for to give them a blast now and again
 
Cheers guys thanks for all the comments and advice have a deposit put on the car now.

I was just at the stage last week after looking at it where I knew the good points and the bad points and I just wanted to see what ye're opinions would be. It was a great help and I just can't wait to have it parked in my yard now.

fair play , congrats on the new motor , good to see someone considering their options instead of buying the first car they see ,

seen as you bought the car you need to spend another 50 quid and become a full member
