I know a few have been done in the past, such as Revo's recent STI project, but has anyone on here ever done one or had one done? never seen a legacy converted to 2door...

I recall seeing a yellow impreza on here a few years ago which was converted to 2 door but as far as I remember everyone figured it wouldn't pass an nct

I can't imagine the hardship with paper work, engineers reports etc etc... That's even if you were allowed to legally do it.

this crowd did one, and they plan on making 20plus of these for retail, but itss now the fastest Impreza to lap the ring, and is 500plus bhp , so god only knows the price tag, looks badass though! But they have a tightly knit team of specialists and tools to boot.

ABWMotorsport in UK makes the conversion kit:

Also there is a 2 door blob:

Looks Shi,t with the short door im with Dave pillar has to be moved or it looks all wrong

Same as above, looks awful just welding up the rear and leaving the short door, even on that revolution impreza.

I wouldnt mind it on a full based track car full of graphics etc. Can design graphic in a certain way to give effect of a longer door through colours etc.

Looks sh*t on plain colour

Can't graphic design away the top of the b pillar between the glass, gonna look cat either way and if anyone did it on a fully track based race car, it would be a silly decision not to just replace the door completely with carbon or the likes rather than just creating extra weight by either welding or filling the doors.

That revolution car just looks all wrong :puke3:

reckon the revo impreza juuust about swings it, certainly not pretty but not horrendous. but ideally the pilar should be moved back, have seen this done on one american car before ( cant remember the model, some american cadilac type thing) but they never re-did the interior trim, id imagine that would be a headache to end all headaches trying to match panels to the back

Revo car should have been left alone but is a nice well specced car overall
