Anyone ever get a Lambda sensor from E-bay?

Will not be genuine Subaru part for that price and will only cause more hassle in the long run.

Second that! I got a spureus one and still using alot more fuel!!! finally bit the bullet today, ordered a genuine Subaru one. Ill sell you my spureus one when I change it :)

you should try the likes of import car parts man, they usually come in cheaper with parts and they have genuine bits too i wouldnt use spurious as well as they tend to be trouble

Enough said lads thanks
What sort of money was it from main dealer jasper?
Thanks for link johnny t ill price there tomorrow if i get time

Have to say i've used non genuine Lambdas before in B4s with no trouble and no increased fuel consumption. Subaru ones arent made by subaru anyway, theryre either NTK or Bosch

as above man they are bosch so if you didnt want to get genuine you could get a bosch just take the part number and get your local motor factors to source it for you

yeah I'm using a Bosch LS02 for the past 2years now, a quarter of the price of subaru,

i happend to look at them today on Import Car Parts £199+ delivery! stupid money :cuckoo:

I would strongly recommend the genuine from importcarparts though...

Been there done that like...

I bought the Bosch sensor from Just Lambda http://www.lambdasensor.com/ and it lasted for like 8 months and got very lazy in readings.

-Bought the genuine from importcarparts (much cheaper than from the dealer) and it works fine.

I read lots of threads on Scoobynet about those cheap replacements sensors= they simply don't last.

codders if you were to take the bosch part number off the sensor you could buy it from any decent motor factors it would be the same part as you get from importcarparts all bosch do is manufacture it for subaru
